Nora Kobrinsky is an oil painter and printmaker working in Winnipeg.

She earned her BFA (honours) from the University of Manitoba (2008). She was mentored by Lisa Wood through MAWA’s foundation mentorship program (2008-2009). She pursued further studies in printmaking at the University of Manitoba (2009-2010).

In her art, Kobrinsky uses cultural artifacts, animal imagery and unrealistic space to explore the psychological underpinnings of people’s actions, incongruities in everyday life, and social mores.
